About Cantor Labovitz

In my work as a Cantor, I have dedicated myself to creating meaningful connections through music, education, and spiritual leadership. From fostering growth within my community to guiding others with care and resilience, I take pride in my responsibility and ability to inspire and support those around me. My journey has been rooted in a commitment to authentic Judaism in the modern world, whether through teaching and mentoring, performing and bringing together voices in song, or cultivating spaces where joy and listening can thrive.

Cantor Hinda Eisen Labovitz has been the cantor of Ohr Kodesh Congregation since 2014, and served simultaneously as the religious school principal of the Alvin Browdy Religious School and director of education through 2022.
