Siyyum Tanakh (Excerpt)

On the (Not) Silence of Aaron at the Death of His Sons

In our year of mourning for our son Ronen, I completed a Siyyum Tanakh - a study of the entirety of the Hebrew Bible. On his first yahrzeit, I shared that Siyyum, and reflections on my learning in particular about bereavement in the Bible, with a select group of friends and colleagues. This is a 5-minute excerpt from the longer lecture, in which I share a reflection about Aaron after the death of his sons, Nadav and Avihu.
